Women Empowerment, Literacy and Development Organization (WELDO) is a leading registered not for profit organization established in 2003.
WELDO has extensive coverage throughout Pakistan with shared and standalone offices. WELDO has over 200 focal persons on its panel throughout 113 districts in Pakistan. We have s unparalleled outreach, coupled with almost two decades of project management, implementation and evaluation experience. Our strategic approach of “Development without Borders” has led us in developing extensive working partnership network with more than 1500 national and international partners from diverse backgrounds including NGOs, CBOs, community groups, donors, chamber of commerce, SMEs, trade development bodies, research institutions and universities.
Since 2010, WELDO’s main focus has been on provision of sustainable returns and services. WELDO has provided longterm and short-term returns, reintegration and resettlement services to over 12,000 returnees. WELDO is currently working with Frontex and the governments of Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Romania, Serbia, Span, Sweden, Switzerland and United Kingdom under its projects.

With assistance from WELDO these returnees are able to build a better life for themselves, their families and consequently their communities.
